  How agent accounts work

An agent account manages several seller companies and trades on their behalf. Unlike a seller, an agent does not place orders themselves.

Managed companies
-----------------

Each company you manage is linked to your account. On the company page you switch between your own company and the managed seller companies. Learn more under [switch between companies](/en/help/docs/managing-companies/switch-between-companies).

Display in the catalog
----------------------

Products of a managed company show a "sold by" note with your name. If "Appear as seller" is enabled in the seller settings, only the company itself is shown instead.

Terms
-----

A managed company can use your seller terms instead of adding its own. You enable this in the company's seller settings via "Use sales agent terms".
